I AM SADDENED TO READ OF MARTHA'S DEATH. I REMEMBER HER FONDLY DURING MY EMPLOYMENT AT THE OAK RIDGE GASEOUS DIFFUSION PLANT (K-25)IN THE 1950'S, AS WELL AS AT THE OAK RIDGE NATIONAL LABORATORY LATER ON. I PARTICULARLY REMEMBER HER CHEERFUL "OVER AND BEYOND " ASSISTANCE AS RESEARCH LIBRARIAN IN PROVIDING TIMELY HELP IN LOCATING BOOKS AND JOURNAL ARTICLES NEEDED FOR MY WORK IN ENGINEERING RESEARCH. On behalf of the library staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, I wish to extend my sympathy to family. Several members of the current staff were here during the time that Marti worked here, and we have good memories of her. I was honor to have known Marty....She was a wonderful person..She is now at rest at home.. May God bless and keep the family safe...
