Obituary of Edward Bullins
SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: EDWARD C. BULLINS, age 88, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007 in Smyth County Community Hospital. He was a member of the Elizabeth United Methodist Church, a member of the Ruritan Club and a fifty year member of The Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Sugar Grove Lodge #215. Mr. Bullins was retired from Brunswick Corporation. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and was an expert gardener. He is survived by his wife, Maxine A. Bullins of Sugar Grove, Virginia; two sons, Edward C. Bullins, Jr. and wife, Marie-Claire Bullins of Sugar Grove, Virginia and James Michael Bullins and wife, Lisa of Bristol, Tennessee; one grandson, Justin Bullins; one granddaughter, Beth Peters and husband, Jeremy; one great-granddaughter, Hannah Peters; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 6, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Mike Ward and Rev. Donald Medley officiating. Private burial will be held in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday, April 6, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
