As a child, Uncle Merv was special to me and in fact, to our whole family and we anxiously looked forward to the visits from him and his family. In addition to being kind and fun, they were always faithful to bring boxes of "goodies." In the past few years, we have had the opportunity to see him again when we came to Whitetop and I saw that he was still the dear man we'd known and by then, he had married a perfectly wonderful woman who was incredibly always pleasant and we surely liked her, too! He will definitely be missed and we send our love and condolences to Louise and to all the family. God bless you all.

Sorry to hear about the death of Dr. Meck. To Louise and the Boys (who are my cousins) May God fill the vacant spot in your heart with His love. I loved him very much.
