I was saddened to hear that Bascom had passed. He was always the nicest man and neighbor! The Johnson family lived across from my parents for as long as I can remember (at least 28 years)! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Also, my parens (Gay and Charlie Overbay) send their best.

I will always think of all the things Uncle Bascom made with his hands. He made a little doll crib for me when I was a child. Debbie's right - I'll remember the smell of pipe smoke, too. His race is run. love, judy carol

I always think of Uncle Bascom when I smell pipe tobacco. I miss the days of us all being together when we and our parents were younger. You are in our thoughts and prayers
