Obituary of Crecy Baker

MARION, VIRGINIA: CRECY LOU BAKER, age 75, died Thursday, March 8, 2007 in Ridgefield Assisted Living, Seven Mile Ford, Virginia. She was born July 11, 1931 in Smyth County, Virginia to the late Authur and Mattie Rutherford Russell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Hobert, Columbus, and Authur Carmen Russell and two sisters, Margaret Jones and Faye Cregger. She is survived by one brother, Charles "Jim" Russell and wife, Gladys of Marion, Virginia; one sister, Carrie Sexton of Marion, Virginia and one sister-in-law, Agnes Baker of Jefferson, North Carolina. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Gary Trout and Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
