Obituary of Frances Price

FRANCES ANN PRICE, age 75, widow of Bruce Price, died Friday, March 23, 2007 in Wellmont Hospice House, Bristol, Tennessee. She was born in Smyth County to the late Harrison and Grace Wolfe Bowman. Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Delmar Ray, Leroy "Sam", Ralph "Hooch", Kenneth, Harrison "June", Charles Henry, and James "Buck" Bowman; three sisters, Katie Doane, Elizabeth Pierce and Ruth Bowman. Mrs. Price is survived by two foster sons, William "Tinker" Bowman and wife, Missy and Richard Bowman all of Marion, Virginia; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Margaret Bowman and Shirley Bowman, both of Marion, Virginia, Jo Lee Bowman and Dean Price and wife, Barbara all of Rural Retreat, Virginia, Treva Rogers and husband, Pete of Pulaski, Virginia and Carol Poteat and husband, Donald of Chesterfield, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Kristopher Bowman, Brittany Bowman Powers, Branson Bowman, Bobbie Cox, Ashley Bowman, Hilary Miller and Christopher Belcher; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Chuck Herrell, Rev. Tom Sullivan and Rev. Travis Price officiating. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Rural Retreat, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
