Obituary of Marjorie Gay

MARION, VIRGINIA: MARJORIE J. GAY, age86, died Friday, February 9, 2006 at the Ridgefield Assisted Living Facility. Mrs. Gay was a member of Marion Baptist Church, and she had taught Sunday School at various churches for over fifty years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orman H. Gay. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn Jean Walker and husband, Gene of Marion, Virginia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Miller Gay and wife, Betty of Roswell, Georgia and Arthur Orman Gay and wife, Ramona of Dade City, Florida; nine grandchildren, including Scott Andrew Suarez and wife, Pia, Julie Maria Suarez and husband, Jerry Munk, and Terrance Michael Suarez; nine great-grandchildren, including, Elliott Andrew Suarez. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Marion Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Ross officiating. Graveside services will be held Wednesday in Oakridge Cemetery, Tifton, Georgia. The family will receive friends Sunday evening at Seaver-Brown Chapel from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marion Baptist Church, 1258 North Main Street, Marion, Virginia 24354 or The Ridgefield Assisted Living Resident Activity Fund, 155 Ridgefield Drive, Marion, Virginia 24354.
