Obituary of Donald Francis DR

MARION, VIRGINIA: DR. DONALD M. FRANCIS, age 52, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at his home in Marion, Virginia from a lengthy illness that we do not understand. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. David and Virginia Duncan Francis. Donald was a graduate of Marion Senior High School, received his B.A. Degree at Wake Forest University and obtained his D.D.S. Degree at the University of North Carolina. After returning to Marion, he followed in his father's footsteps in practicing dentistry for more than 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Hendon Francis of Marion, Virginia; Three sons, David E. Francis, Alexander G. Francis and Michael L. Francis all of Marion, Virginia; Two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Susan Francis of Marion, Virginia and Jim and Sharon Francis of Salisbury, Maryland; One aunt, Annie Edwards Francis of Marion, Virginia; Several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 6, 2007 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marion Life Saving Crew, P.O.
