Obituary of Connie Gilbert

MARION, VIRGINIA: CONNIE HASH GILBERT, age 89, went home to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday, December 4, 2006 in Francis Marion Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray "Gib" Gilbert, Her parents, Ben and Dora Hash, Three sisters, and Three brothers. She is survived by one son, Dennis Ray "Bud" Gilbert of Chilhowie, Virginia; One granddaughter, Dr. Monica Lynn Gilbert of Atlanta, Georgia; One grandson, Chad Gilbert of Atlanta, Georgia; Two sisters, Fay Tolliver of Lenoir, North Carolina and Eva Hayes and husband, Forest of Sugar Grove, Virginia. Four brothers, Fred Hash of Wauchula, Florida, Bruce Hash and wife, Irene of West Jefferson, North Carolina, Bill Hash and wife, Nan of Nokesville, Virginia, Paul Hash and wife, Peg of Berryville, Virginia; A sister-in-law, Rena Hash of Madison, Virginia; A special friend, Polly Johnson of Marion, Virginia; A little friend, Jolene; and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held Friday, December 8, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia with Pastor Ed Schaack officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
