Obituary of Ella Echols

MARION, VIRGINIA: ELLA MARIE ECHOLS, age 82, died Thursday, November 9, 2006 in Francis Marion Manor Nursing Home. She was an employee of Smyth County Community Hospital for 30 years and was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Katherine Ann "Katie" and Raymond Sheets of Sugar Grove, Virginia, and Carolyn Sue and Jerry Reed of Marion, Virginia; One son, Ronnie C. Echols and fiancée, Sharon Widener of Marion, Virginia. Three grandchildren, Angela Kay Sheets, Steven Sheets, and Freddie Sheets; Six great-grandchildren, and a very special companion, Sophie also survive. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Neville Mozingo, Rev. Jerry Creasy, and Rev. Billy Gwynn officiating. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, November 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Helton Cemetery, Grayson County, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
