Obituary of Frank Mancinelli

MARION, VIRGINIA: FRANK "JAKE" MANCINELLI, age 91, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Smyth County Community Hospital. He was born in Wishaw, Pennsylvania to the late Peter and Columba Sorbelli Mancinelli. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard having served in World War II as a Chief Petty Officer. He was the general manager of a sheet metal factory for many years and was Treasurer of the Clifton, New Jersey Little League for 7 years and President for 2 years. Mr. Mancinelli was also the Treasurer of AARP for 2 years and was President of the local chapter for 2 years. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Mancinelli of Marion, Virginia; Three sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter and Laura Mancinelli of West Paterson, New Jersey; Franklyn Mancinelli of Grassy Creek, North Carolina; and Richard and Daria Mancinelli of Marion, Virginia. Three grandchildren, Aurora, Jonathan, and Larissa and many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
