Obituary of Helen Burnop

MARION, VIRGINIA: HELEN LOUISE MARTIN BURNOP, widow of George Campbell Burnop, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 in Smyth County Community Hospital. She was born in Smyth County to the late Charles and Hattie King Martin; and was a life time member of the First Untied Methodist Church of Marion, VA and was a charter member of Abingdon Chapter # 182 of the Order of Eastern Star where she was past Matron. She is survived by one sister Hallie Hawkins of Abingdon, Virginia; four nieces and several great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday October 19, 2006 at 2:30 pm at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Jeff Lambert, Mr. Larry Smith and the Order the Eastern Star Abingdon Chapter # 182 Abingdon, Virginia officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.
