Obituary of Clarence Stump

MARION, VIRGINIA: CLARENCE E. "MOON" STUMP JR., age 85, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Francis Marion Manor. He is preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Stump Sr., and one brother, Hugh M. Stump. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte A. Stump of Marion, Virginia; one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Charlie Shaw of Nokesville, Virginia; one son and daughter-in-law, Clarence E. "Eddy", III and Mary Preston Stump of Marion, Virginia; five grandchildren, Michael, Brian, and Patrick Shaw, and Kristen and Sarah Stump. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Dr. Mark Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel in Marion, Virginia.
