Obituary of Freida Romans

MARION, VIRGINIA: FREIDA ELLEDGE ROMANS, age 75, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006 in Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. She was a long time member of the Falling Water Baptist Church. She had been an employee of Southwestern State Hospital and Mountain CAP for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Effie Allen Elledge; and one son Benny Romans. She is survived by her husband, Bennett Romans of Marion, Virginia; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Fred Sprinkle of La Grange, Kentucky; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Anita Romans of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina; one sister and brother-in-law, Emma and Herbert Haulsee of Marion, Virginia; six grandchildren, Heather Hutchens and husband Brian, Benny Romans, Dan Sprinkle and wife Paige, Sarah Sprinkle, Lori Romans, Leah Romans; and one great-grandchild, Kathlyn Hutchens. Two nieces also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, 2006 at Seaver-Brown Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tim Boyette and Rev. Pat Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Marion, Virginia. The Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
