Obituary of Mary Blankenbeckler

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: MARY JANE STONE BLANKENBECKLER, age 53, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 27, 2006 in Smyth County Community Hospital. She had worked at McNeil's Furniture for 31 years, and was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Sidney Clay Blankenbeckler of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Blankenbeckler of Bristol, Virginia; her parents, Charles Ivan and Christine Delp Stone of Lincoln, Delaware; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Larry Kibler of Harrington, Delaware; two brothers and sister-in-law, Mark and Tina Stone of Newark, Delaware, Michael Stone of Smyrna, Delaware; her mother-in-law, Roberta Blankenbeckler of Sugar Grove, Virginia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Philip and Teresa Blankenbeckler of Dublin, Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Many special friends and relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Sugar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Gwinn officiating. Burial will follow in Slemp Cemetery in Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
