Obituary of William Snider

William G. "Bill" Snider, age 54, of Marion died Monday evening, March 29th, 2004 while working on his farm. Born on April 5th, 1949, he was the son of the late William G. and Daisy Meek Snider. He was a 1967 graduate of Marion Senior High School and a 1971 graduate of Virginia Tech. He had worked with Brunswick Corporation for a number of years and was presently working for Klockner Pentaplast and had also operated the family farm on Snider Branch Road for most of his adult life. Surviving are two sons, William Scott Snider of Richmond, Virginia and Daniel Mark Snider of Marion. One sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Don Wechsler of Lynchburg, Virginia. One nephew and two nieces. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 1st at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 til 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
