Obituary of Carolyn Stoots

MARION, VIRIGNIA: CAROLYN WOLFE STOOTS, age 84, went to be with her Lord Friday, April 14, 2006 at Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Virginia. Born January 13, 1922, in Marion, Virginia, she was a child of the late Baldwin and Orilla Coulthard Wolfe. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church and a supervisor at Harwood Manufacturing Company. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Fred Stoots, two brothers, James W. Wolfe and Clarence Wolfe, and a sister, Edith Marie Murray. She is survived by five sisters, Willie Scott, Nora Lee Comer and husband, Wade, Ozena Anderson and husband, Sherwood, Edna Sue McClure and husband, Bill, and Nannie Hayden; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Poston; and a special friend, Virginia Campbell Williams. Fourteen nieces and nephews also survive. Pallbearers will be Brent Foster, Zachary Foster, Don Hayes, Gary Heninger, Willard Murray, and Rob Romans. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Dr. Mark Ross officiating. Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 16, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
