Obituary of Lena Pruitt

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: LENA ROSE PRUITT, age 63, died Friday, April 28, 2006 at her home in Sugar Grove, Virginia. She was a member of Wharf Hill United Methodist Church and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Claude Kent Pruitt, Jr. of Sugar Grove, Virginia. Two daughters, Monica Lynn Del Pozo of Melbourne, Florida and Amanda Michelle Creasy of Marion, Virginia. One son, James Kent Pruitt of Searcy, Arkansas. Two sisters, Mildred "Tiny" Paisley of Galax, Virginia and Thelma Louise Keyes of Marion, Virginia. Three half-brothers, Roy Parks of Sugar Grove, Virginia, Roby Parks of Atkins, Virginia, and Cleve Parks of New Freedom, Pennsylvania. Seven grandchildren, Jennifer Pruitt of Sparta, North Carolina, Nicolas, Claudia, Sophia, Cristina, Erika Del Pozo of Melbourne, Florida, Jonathan Creasy of Marion, Virginia. Three great-grandchildren, Isabella and Selena Babilonia of Melbourne Florida and Adan Henry of Melbourne, Florida. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Wharf Hill United Methodist Church, Sugar Grove, Virginia with Rev. Kenneth Conner officiating. Burial will follow at Slemp Cemetery in Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
