Obituary of Agnes Greer

MARION, VIRGINIA: AGNES VIRGINIA NUNLEY GREER, age 67, died Monday, March 27, 2006 in Wythe County Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Alden Doak Nunley and her mother, Ella Jane Nunley of Horsepen, Virginia; Two brothers-in-law, Earl Greer and Kelly Hall and three sisters-in-law, Allie Jane Greer, Bessie Williams and Jessie Smith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Hilton L. Greer, Jr. of Marion, Virginia; One daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Bradley Davidson of Atkins, Virginia; One granddaughter, Ashley Davidson and two grandsons, Benjamin Davidson and Adam Davidson all of Atkins, Virginia; Two brothers, Claude Nunley of Sparta, North Carolina and James Nunley of Claypool Hill, Virginia; Three sisters, Betty Maines of Abbs Valley, Virginia, Marie Thompson and Wilma Hall both of Marion, Virginia; Two aunts, one uncle, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Marion Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Ross and Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel
