Obituary of Clara McGrady

MARION, VIRGINIA: CLARA A. McGRADY, age 83, widow of Herman McGrady, died Friday, February 17, 2006 in Francis Marion Manor Nursing Home, Marion, Virginia. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by one son, Jack L. Bell of Marion, Virginia; Five grandchildren, Anna Gross, Jesse Bell and David Bell all of Marion, Virginia, Mary Barnes of High Point, North Carolina, and John Bell of Thomasville, North Carolina. Four great-grandchildren, Tabitha Gross and Tina Bell both of Marion, Virginia, Amanda Barnes of High Point, North Carolina, and Darren Bell of Rural Retreat, Virginia; One great-great-granddaughter, Leah St. Clair of Marion, Virginia; and a special friend, Helen Thatcher of Marion, Virginia. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. James McGrady officiating. A private burial will be held at New Bethel Cemetery, Wythe County, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
