Obituary of Lona Pruitt

MARION, VIRGINIA: LONA MAE PRUITT, age 90, widow of Marvin William Pruitt, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005 in Smyth County Community Hospital. She was a good Christian lady who was loved by friends and family and will be sadly missed by all. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Aline and Bernard Dodson of Marion, Virginia; Yevon and Roy Gibson of Indian Head, Maryland; and Barbara and Dennis Sebastian of Marion, Virginia; Three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Willena Pruitt of Marion, Virginia; Robert "Tullar" and Barbara Pruitt of Marion, Virginia; and William Michael "Buster" and Sherry Pruitt of Newberg, Maryland. Twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 23, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. David Neitch officiating. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
