Obituary of Mary Sprinkle

MARY MAE BROOKS SPRINKLE, age 86 passed away peacefully Friday, December 9, 2005 at Hope Hospice of Cape Coral, Florida. Born August 12, 1919 in Norfolk Virginia to the late Henry and Elizabeth Brooks. A graduate of Greensburg Woman's College she married Stewart L. Sprinkle and worked right by his side in the Golf business for 35 years and then she retired from Sabre Reality at age 82. She has resided at Fairway Pines for the past three and one half years after moving from Lake Placid and was Secretary of the Fairway Pines Council. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Sebring. Mary Mae enjoyed life to the fullest and will be certainly missed by her family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Stewart. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her beloved daughter Mary Stewart Harrell of St. James City, Florida; two grandchildren, Robert Stewart Rush of Clewiston, Florida and Kristie Lynn Parrish of Royal Palm, Florida; two great grandchildren Julia and Heather Parish; one sister Margaret Hayes of Phillipsburg, New Jersey. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Thursday, December 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel in Marion, Virginia with Rev. Gene Copenhaver officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends before the service Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Seaver Brown Chapel.
