Obituary of Eleanor Voss

MARION, VIRGINIA: ELEANOR PAULINE VOSS, age 78, died Tuesday, November 1, 2005 in Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee. Born July 20, 1927 in Washington County, Virginia, to the late Edward Corbett Atkins and Rosa Mae Snyder Atkins. Pauline was a Surgical Nurse in various hospitals for over 30 years, including Jamaica Hospital, Queens, New York and Valley Stream Hospital in Long Island, New York. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, Carl C. Voss of Marion, Virginia; One step-daughter, Virginia Lynn Ziff of Coral Springs, Florida; Three step-sons, Donald Carl Voss of White Cloud, Michigan, William Richard Voss of East Northport, New York, and Gerald Lyle Voss of Ball Ground, Georgia. Eight step-grandchildren, Christina Lynn Voss, Jeannette A. Voss, Daniel Murphy, William Carl Voss, Matthew Thomas Voss, Adam Ryan Voss, Erick Michael Voss, and Allana Blanche Ziff and four step-great-grandchildren, Breck Ganion, Zia A. Savage, Garrett Savage, and Daniel Jackson Murphy. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Ed Schaack officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
