Obituary of Monica Caudill Roulo
ATKINS, Va.
Monica Caudill Roulo, age 51, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Va. after a bravely fought, long, hard battle with breast cancer.
Monica loved life, her family and friends. There was a lot of life in her small frame. To say it best, Monica was a spitfire with a huge heart. She loved the Lord and being in her Bible. Monica always had a smile or joke for everyone she came in contact with. Her customers loved her during her time owning Atkins Beauty & Tanning Salon. Monica will be missed by all of her loving family, and many, many friends; but now she is free from cancer, pain, and tears and in the arms of Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby L. Caudill; brother, Doug Caudill; paternal grandparents, Colonel and Cora Caudill; maternal grandparents, Frank Musser and Alberta Fisher Musser.
Monica is survived by her son, Bobby Roulo of Marion, Va.; mother, Peggy Musser Caudill of Marion, Va.; brothers, Mark Caudill of Marion, Va. and Mike Caudill of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister-in-love, Dee Dee Dunford of Atkins, Va.; granddaughter, Trinity Alexis Roulo of Marion, Va.; special aunts, Judy Caudill of Atkins, Va., Linda Firestone of Marion, Va. and Irene Idol of Marion, Va.; many cousins; and special four-legged friend Smokey.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. with Reverend Herman Cress officiating. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Rose Lawn Mausoleum. Everyone attending is asked to follow the COVID-19 Safety & Social Distancing Guidelines.
