My apologies for my mistake earlier. Dot's Grandmother was America Foster Haga - not her mother.
Sorry for the mistake.

I have always remembered Carson, Dot, Ernie and Bruce through the years, with very fond memories. Dot and Edith were my Sunday school teachers at Chilhowie,Va. Church of God. They both instilled a very precious love for Jesus Christ in my young life. The same one that I carry with me today. Ernie and Bruce and families, I pray that the Lord will wrap you in His loving arms and give you His peace that surpasses all understanding. All our prayers and love to you all.

Dear Ernie, Bruce & Family,
We're so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose your mother, and Aunt Dorothy was a very sweet and kind person. She reminded me of mom in a lot of ways, and she was beautiful on the inside and the outside. I have many childhood memories that I will always cherish. I remember our long trips driving to Virginia as a kid. Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Carson were always so welcoming, and they always made room for us to stay at their house. She'd always make us meals, no matter how many of us were there, and she always seemed happy to do it. She's now in the presence of the Lord, and I'm thankful that she's no longer suffering in any way, but instead is in the most Beautiful Place ever, her Heavenly Home. Unfortunately, our family won't be able to make it to the viewing or funeral this week. Michael was hospitalized from January through August, and he has a lot of appointments that I have to take him to now. We'll be thinking of you all, and we'll definitely be praying for you as well.
We love you,
Brian, Stacie, Michael & Erin Allison

Dorothy was a beautiful person and very sweet. She was a lot like her mother sweet Aunt Ruth. May she rest in peace.

To the Haga & Peters families. I had the joy of meeting Dot through her church friend, Sue, who is my sister-in-law. Dot & I are distant relatives. Her mother, America Foster Haga was my Grandmother, Mittie Foster Hutton's sister. Dot is the only family member I met. Her dedication to her church was totally awesome. I send my heartfelt condolences to each of you. May you remember Dot as a happy lady. Prayers to all, Alma Jean (Johnson) Pennington
