Fond memories of Coleen working with patients and staff to help insure patients had good nutrition and the dignity of food choices. She seemed tireless in her efforts. A real professional. My sympathies to friends, colleagues, and family.

Stephen & Jason, So sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. Her children & grandchildren were her life. She was a dear friend & we shared so many great “Mother” & “Grandmother” stories during the 20 plus years working together at SWVMHI. Remember our trip to Carowinds & looking for baseball cards? She will always be remembered by my family for sharing her Homemade Sour Dough Bread & Six Week Muffin recipes. The grandchildren expect both when visiting. May God bless your families during the coming days.

Coleen was a jewel! We were friends in high school and I will cherish the times we had at R.B.Worthy. Later, our paths would cross again at SWVMHI. I know that she loved her boys and grandchildren. She was very proud of each of you. May the Lord comfort and bless you during this journey.

Stephen, Jason and family - over our 30 years of working together we have traveled, cried, laughed & fussed about things we couldn’t control. We could look at each other & bust into laughter! She was so proud of her family and loved you all with all of her heart. My heart breaks with sadness but it rejoices that she is free of pain. Love and prayers for each of you.

I worked at SWVMHI with/under Coleen for 25 years. She eventually became a teacher/mentor/friend. I know how proud she was of her boys, their families and those wonderful grandchildren. May God bless all the family and friends as she walks those streets of gold. My sincere condolences to all. I was blessed to have known her.
