Obituary of Dewey E. "Bo" Guinn, Jr.

Abingdon, Va.

Dewey E. “Bo” Guinn, Jr., age 72, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Va.

Bo was the son of the late Dewey and Gracie Guinn. He was a self-employed contractor, but now he has laid down his tools and gone to his home in Heaven.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Roy, Jimmy and Rosco; sisters, Hazel, Mary and Hattie.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 21 wonderful and precious years, Jean Guinn; two loving sons, Jeffery Wingler and Johnny Wingler, Jr., all of Abingdon, Va.; brother, Gene Guinn (Darlene) of New Market, Va.; numerous nieces, nephews, and so very many friends.

As per Bo’s wishes, he will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
