Obituary of Thomas Lee Deisher & John Curtis Deisher, Jr.

Thomas Lee Deisher & John Curtis Deisher, Jr., infant sons of Cheyenne Nicole Miller and John Curtis Deisher, Sr., came into this world wearing their angel wings, Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Wythe County Community Hospital, Wytheville, Va.

They were preceded in death by their grandfather, James Thomas Jackson; great-grandparents, Gordon and Nancy Deisher, James and Margaret Garland, James Ashby, and James and Billie Jackson; great-great-grandmother, Bertha Campbell; and cousin, Steven Stamper.

In addition to their parents, the twins are survived by their brothers, Logan Skylar Edward Griffey and Michael Andrew Miller; grandparents, Becky Ashby, John Kirby Deisher, and Alice Garland; great-grandmother, Rebecca Ashley; aunts and uncles, Julia Akers and husband, Thomas, Angela Hall and husband, Titon, and James Thomas Jackson, II; and several cousins, including special cousins, Tyteona and Tyrell Hall; special friends of the parents, Josh and Ashley Stacy.

The family would like to extend a very special and heartfelt thank you to the Wythe County Community Hospital Women’s Center for their kindness and care.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Wassum Cemetery, Lee Highway, Atkins, VA 24311 with Pastor Charles McPeake officiating.
