Obituary of Sandra Harless Taylor
ABINGDON, Va.
SANDRA HARLESS TAYLOR, age 68, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at her home in Washington, Penn. following a lengthy illness.
Born and raised in Abingdon, Va., she was the daughter of the late Ira and Marcelle Sullins Harless. Sandra graduated in 1974 from Patrick Henry High School and received a degree in Home Economics from James Madison University.
She is survived by her husband, John Taylor of the home; son, Tony Stevens of Sherrills Ford, N.C.; step-daughter, Katherine Taylor; step-son, Michael Taylor and wife, Bekah; step-granddaughter, Raquel Eadie Kolt; sister, Teresa Harless; special people in her life, aunts, Mary Harless and Joyce Sullins both of Abingdon, Va.; and uncle, Ernie Sullins of Marion, Va.
According to Sandra’s wishes, her ashes will be spread close to where she grew up on Toole Creek.
