Obituary of Lois Frazier "Lucy" Goodpasture

MARION, Va.

Lois Frazier “Lucy” Goodpasture, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Saturday, July 10, 2021 at her home in  Marion, Va.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Howard and Annie Watson Frazier; her four legged grandbabies, Gracie and Scooter.

Lucy retired from Smyth County Community Hospital after working many years in the dietary department. She was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and her four legged friends. She was fond of and looked forward to her trips to Gatlinburg, Sea World and Busch Gardens.

Lucy is survived by her son, Randy Goodpasture; daughter, Anna Goodpasture and wife, Kindra “Kinder” Newman all of Marion, VA.; granddaughter, Lauren Helton, of Wytheville, Va.; special friends, Mike and Wanda Newman, Angela Mountain, Kailey and Kyle Mabe. 

The family would like to extend special thanks to Wythe Hospice of Southwest Virginia.

At Lois’s request, services will be private.
