Obituary of Carolyn A. Norman

MARION, Va.

Carolyn A. Norman, age 69, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn.

Carolyn was an amazing wife, mom, grandma and friend. She gained her angel wings and went to be with Jesus and all her loving family in Heaven. Carolyn was just the sweetest lady who loved summer, sunshine, and being outdoors. She enjoyed word puzzles and being good to people. Carolyn will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Norman; and parents, James and Madeline Troxell.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Tony Norman and fiancée, Cheyenne Sipps, and Kelly Norman; brother, James Edgar “Grasshopper” Troxell, all of Marion, Va.; and grandson, Jonathan Norman of Saltville, Va.  

The family will hold a private service for family and friends. Carolyn will be buried with her husband James in Round Hill Cemetery, Marion, Va. Family and friends are asked to follow the COVID-19 Safety & Social Distancing Guidelines.
