Obituary of Denise Lynn Martin Repass
ABINGDON, Va.
Denise Lynn Martin Repass, age 56, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at Ballad Hospice House, Bristol, Tenn. surrounded by family and friends.
Denise was a Respiratory Therapist for 33 years and had worked as a Liaison for Encompass Health for the last 5 years. She and her husband Michael had been a couple for 25 years, and loved to travel, enjoying antique shows and making many “antique friends”. But most of all, Denise loved her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Martin; mother, Della Meadows; and step-father, Walter Meadows.
Denise is survived by her husband, Michael Repass, of Abingdon, Va.; children, Halee Repass of Abingdon, Va., Keisha Carter of Bristol, Tenn., Brandon Repass of Greenville, Tx., and Jaxson Repass of the home; brothers, Danny Martin (Wayne Drummond) of Atlanta, Ga., Ernie Martin (Patty) of Gallion, Oh.; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Etta Carter of San Antonio, Tx.; brothers-in-law, Jody Repass (Tina) of Franklin, In., and Jeff Repass (Barbara) of Bandero, Tx.; grandchildren, Ty Deltoro, CC Deltoro, Jesslyn Coleman and Austin Repass; several nieces and nephews; special niece and nephew, Heather Mares and Jason Repass; special friends, Aliesa Huffman, Deirdre Frazier, Carl and Angela Scott, Michael and Lisa Bare, Linda McGlothlin, Gregory and Debbie Frye, Donna Ostimyer, Donna Smith, Mike Ringley, Candie Moore, Grandel and Carol Potter, Rick Fitzgerald, and Allen and Angie Horton.

A Celebration of Denise’s life will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Virginia Highlands Community College Higher Education Center (Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center), 1 Partnership Circle, Abingdon, Va. 24210. Family and friends are asked to follow the COVID-19 Safety & Social Distancing Guidelines.
