Obituary of Jackie Lee Walls

WHITETOP, Va.

Jackie Lee Walls, age 71, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn.

Jackie fought hard against declining health, but COVID proved too much.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Virgie (Buby) Walls; brother, Jimmy; and sister, Barbara Jean.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Bonnie; granddaughter, Roxy, both of the home; son, Michael; granddaughter, Della, both of Whitetop, Va.; daughter, Barbara Lyle and husband, Mark of West Jefferson, N.C.; son, Tony and wife, Patty; granddaughters, Mia and Wendy; grandson, Casey, all of Germany; sister, Joyce Odum; nephew, Joey, both of Meadowview, Va.; niece, Missy Davenport of Abingdon, Va. He will especially be missed by his best friend, Stephnie Stansbury of Whitetop, Va.; his constant puppy sidekick, Tater; and special aunt Cynthia Hough of Ocala, Fla. to whom he was like a son.  

At Jackie’s request, and due to the COVID pandemic, no public services will be held at this time.
