We have been privileged to know the Hester family for as far back as we can remember. Mr William was always a kind and gentle soul. It was our pleasure to know and love him. Thoughts and prayers for this wonderful family.

William was the best neighbor on Harris Lane. He was always helpful if you needed anything, he and Frances was right there to help. He also took my family to the main sites around Marion, North Carolina, West Virginia and Tenn. He could tell a good story at the drop of a hat. Always upbeat. In the fall he would call and say: some leaves from the Large tree in our front yard were down at his house. I would always tell him it's OK you can keep them. When my family would visit from Oklahoma William and France would always play host and hostess to my grandkids and other family and friends that came to Marion , Va. My daughter Carmen says, he's the sweetest man. Heaven has a wonderful Angel coming in. He will be greatly missed.

Gary and Sherry we are so sorry to hear about the passing of Gary’s father. Please know the two of you and the entire Hester family are in our thoughts and prayers. Several Bible verses come to mind during a difficult time but here are two that we pray will bring you comfort. Matthew 5:4 says “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted “. Psalm 34:18 says “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit “. We pray you find peace during this time in knowing that Mr. Hester is now in the Lord’s hands.
