Obituary of Thomas Jackson "Jack" Price
MARION, Va.
Thomas Jackson “Jack” Price, age 84, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 16, 2021 in Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia, S.C.
Jack attended Christian Unity Church, Marion, Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Price Sr. and Goldie Greer Price; son, Buddy Lee Price; daughter, Golden Irene Kloeckner; brothers, Buddy Price, Roy Price, and Ira Price, Jr.
Jack is survived by his wife Anita Carol Price; son, Thomas Howard “Hardy” Price, both of Marion, Va.; two step-children he loved as his own, Jeffery Jason Gardner of Pocahontas, Va. and Heather Nicole Pastva of Columbia, S.C.; brother, Mac Price and wife, Karen of Newark, Del.; sister, Brenda Purse of New Castle, Del.; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; best friend, Brother Bill Konnert and wife, Nancy; special friends, Billy Winters, Walt Smith, and Charlie Barnett.
Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Greg Carrico and Reverend Ray Wolford officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 25, 2021 at 11 a.m at Laurel Cemetery in Konnarock. Military Rites will be conducted by the U.S. Navy Funeral Honor Guard and Francis Marion VFW Post #4667. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
Family and friends are asked to wear a mask and follow the COVID-19 Safety & Social Distancing Guidelines at all services.
