Obituary of Frank Keesee

CHILHOWIE, Va.

Frank Keesee, age 69, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Va.

Frank was a loving father, and a wonderful provider and Nandad to the four grandkids he adored. Frank loved being outdoors – hunting and fishing, he lived and breathed it. He even deer hunted and killed two with a chemo-pump this year. He loved his boys and enjoyed just being with them. Frank always had a lesson or a word to say about something. His larger than life personality and the good way he treated people will be missed.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Frank, Jr.; parents, Hollard and Virgie Keesee; three sisters; and six brothers.

Frank is survived by his sons, Doug Keesee and wife, Dana, and Tommy Keesee; significant other, Sandy Keith, all of Chilhowie, Va.; grandchildren, Dakota Keesee and wife, Nikki of Saltville, Va., Kaylee Keesee and Dillon Keesee, both of Chilhowie, Va.; great-granddaughter, Elliana Keesee of Saltville, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the PCU, CCU, and 3rd Floor nursing staff at Johnston Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care they provided.
