Obituary of Franklin Sullins
FRANKLIN EUGENE "GENE" SULLINS age 58, passed away Tuesday October 25, 2005 at Waccamaw Community Hospital, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Gene was born on October 25, 1947 in Washington County, Virginia to the late Frank and Ola Poston Sullins. He was a US Navy Veteran of Vietnam having served on the U.S.S Saratoga. Mr. Sullins was a Supervisor for E. Hathaway Construction Company in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and he utterly loved living in Murrells Inlet.
Mr. Sullins is survived by his wife Sabrina Elliott Sullins of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; four sisters; Phyllis Havens and husband Bill, Edna Sullins and Betty Kirk and husband Clark all of Marion, Virginia; Rhoda Lane and husband Lin of Colonial Heights Virginia; one brother, Luther Sullins and wife Jane of Marion, Virginia. Several Nieces and Nephews and great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2005 at 8:00 PM at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday October 28, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Walkers Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Marion Virginia where military rites will be conducted by Francis Marion V.F.W. Post #4667. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home and anytime at the home of his sister Betty Kirk 2174 Park Blvd. Marion, Virginia
