Dear Barton family with a heavy hard i send my condolence.
I have know John and Joanne for my lifetime of 80 years both are very dear to me.
When I came up from Florida all ways went to Sugar Grove there I would meet John, Frank Cox and Billy Meek for coffee.
We would call ourselves the Democrat and cattlemen meeting and alot of Laughing and funny discussion.
I will miss you my dear friend.

John was a true friend. He helped me for years on the farm after he retired from Brunswick. I don't know what I would have done without him. We had a lot of good times talking and working together. He will be greatly missed.

Joanne, I was so saddened to learn of Johnny's passing. I have always thought of you and Johnny as having the perfect marriage. I empathize with you as you bear the pain of his loss. My encounters with Johnny were not frequent, but he always greeted me with a big warm smile and a "hello, cousin". I am just so truly sorry.
