Obituary of Anna Fishel

ANNA BELLE "PAT" ATKINS FISHEL age 86, widow of James A. Fishel, Sr., died Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Wythe County Community Hospital. She was born in Smyth County February 9, 1919 to John G. and Georgia Skinnell Atkins. Mrs. Fishel was a member of Davis Memorial United Methodist Church, Atkins, Virginia. A graduate of Marion College she retired from Southwestern State Hospital with over 20 years service. In addition to her husband and her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Walter, George and Jeff Atkins and one sister, Angie Mildred Atkins; one son; James A. Fishel II.; one son in-law; Dr. Fausto Obregon. She is survived by one daughter Elizabeth Ann Obregon of Marion; one granddaughter Dr. Jennifer Renee Fishel McLemore of Greenville, North Carolina. Several Nieces and Nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Donna Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel
