Obituary of Laurel Childe Kassoff

BLACKSBURG, Va.

Laurel Childe Kassoff, age 95, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Nebraska in 1925 to the late Cyril E. and Laurella J. Childe. After graduate school, Laurel worked for many years as a psychologist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Kassoff; and a daughter, Melanie Kassoff.

Laurel is survived by her children, Andrew Kassoff and Elizabeth Kassoff; and other loving family and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes, services will be private.
