Obituary of Annie Buchanan

MARION, VIRGINIA: ANNIE LOUISE BUCHANAN, age 77, widow of John Kimble Buchanan, died Wednesday, September 07, 2005 in Smyth County Community Hospital. She is survived by five daughters, Hazel Armstrong of Marion, Virginia; Betty Sheets, Margaret Osborne, and Janet Armstrong all of Atkins, Virginia; and Carrie Gilley of Sugar Grove, Virginia; One son, Howard Buchanan of Atkins, Virginia; Two sisters, Mary Armstrong of Marion, Virginia, and Betty Burns of Manassas, Virginia; Three brothers, Paul Pruitt and Dan Pruitt both of Rich Valley, Virginia, and Wiley Pruitt of Panama. Fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Herman Cress and Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgedale Cemetery, Rich Valley, Virginia. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
