There are many childhood memories of David growing up in Marion, Virginia. I remember him most, at our grandmother's house or at his parents house in Marion. I was the younger of the older grandchildren and David, Calvin, Jim and Bill were younger. I wish to express my sorrow for your loss. I will always remember everyone.

I have many fine memories of David. One I will never forget. David has made a commitment to our Lord. Before his conversion he sometime would curse. A few days after his conversion we were at church doing some painting. David was on ladder. Somehow he drop paint bucket. Paint went every where. The Pastor and I expected that David would say a few curse words. But instead he simply day. Boy the Devil is trying to make me angry. Hope these words I have written will help to help your hurt. David was very much the reason I am in ministry. As a family you know me as Ralph Pickett. I now go by Rev. James Pickett.
