I worked with Rachel many places - the first being Brunswick. She was a hard worker and an inspiration to all who knew her.
The next place we worked together was the Swiss Inn (in Glade Spring). Again she was a hard worker. She helped train new wait staff and could run circles around most of the servers.
The last place we worked together was the General Francis Marion Hotel - starting with the restaurant Capers. She opened the restaurant on Easter Sunday Brunch and the formal opening on Mother's Day. (I started in July of that year.) The restaurant morphed into The Black Rooster. Again Rachel was tasked with the training of all the wait staff. She was always a pleasure to work with and was missed when she "retired".
I enjoyed all the time we spent together and will miss her dearly.

Rachel was a neighbor of my brother. She was a lovely lady and always kind and considerate.
I will miss her and the joy that she brought to my brother and me. May she rest in peace.
