Obituary of Ruth Peacoe

MARION, VIRGINIA: RUTH IRENE PEACOE, age 81, died Monday, September 12, 2005 at Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie, Virginia. She was born July 25, 1924 to the late Archie Peacoe and Mary Sue Peacoe Haga. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father, Rev. Claude Haga; her sister, Mildred Harrison; and a nephew, Emmitt Harrison, Jr. She is survived by one niece, Debbie Harrison Rice of Marion, Virginia; Two nephews, Dickie Harrison of Marion, Virginia and Tom Harrison of Washington, DC; One brother-in-law, Emmitt Harrison of Marion, Virginia; and Two cousins, Patsy King of Suffolk, Virginia and Bobby Hackler of High Point, North Carolina. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. William T. Wing, III officiating. Graveside Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
