Obituary of Dicky Robinson

DUBLIN, VIRGINIA: DICKY RHEA ROBINSON, age 59, died Friday, September 23, 2005 at his home in Dublin, Virginia. He was a dedicated father and son who served as our protector, provider, and pillar of strength. He was retired from the Merita Bread Company after 30 years of service. Dicky was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Robinson Pugh and his father, Sam T. Robinson. He is survived by his mother, Lorene Blevins Robinson of Marion, Virginia; Two sons, Chris R. Robinson and wife, Dottie of Rural Retreat, Virginia, and Timmothy B. Robinson and fiancé, Elizabeth Hubbard of Wytheville, Virginia; One daughter, Bethany Evans and husband, Greg of Ashland, Kentucky; One sister, Dianna Brown and husband, Henry of Radford, Virginia. Five grandchildren, Lauren Robinson, Tyler and Abigail Evans, Sam and Ivy Robinson, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 26, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Mike Halsey officiating. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the services at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
