I remember visiting what my Grandmother Jessie called the "old home place" in Honaker sometimes in the summer. Great-Aunt Mary and Uncle Clyde (Jessie's brother) would have the croquet set up before I arrived. Cousin Charlie taught me how to play chess. He had a dry sense of humor and quietly would push me into getting into trouble but he was always so much fun! I lost touch with Charlie years ago and only learned of his death today through Ancestry while working on our family tree. Keep your family close, don't lose touch, don't forget about them even if they are far away.
--Love to you Cousin Charlie

I worked with Charles for several years in Richmond, VA at Signet Bank. We were friends in the late 1980's until he left Richmond. I have only learned of his passing today and am sorry to hear of it. Godspeed, my friend.

Charles and I were almost like brothers at ASU. We kept in touch for 50 years. I knew his Mother and she lived to be 100 years old. I thought Charles would have a long life, but God had a different plan.
RIP, my buddy!
