Obituary of Jerry Elledge

MARION, VIRGINIA: JERRY ELWOOD ELLEDGE, age 49, died Monday, September 26, 2005 at his home in Marion, Virginia. He was a retired Gunnery Sergeant of the United States Marine Corp. after 20 ½ years of service. He is survived by one daughter, Christin Leigh Elledge of Roanoke, Virginia. One son, Sean Jensen Elledge of Wytheville, Virginia. His mother, Glenna Elledge of Marion, Virginia. Two brothers, Carl Gene Elledge of Chilhowie and Bucky Elledge of Marion, Virginia. Several nieces, nephews, and one great-nephew also survive. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Neville Mozingo and Rev. Mary Kay Briggs officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Springs Cemetery, Marion, Virginia, where military rites will be conducted by United States Marine Corp. and Francis Marion V.F.W. Post #4667. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
