Our sincere condolences to Phyllis, her siblings & all the family. We do not remember meeting your dad but heard much about him. He WAS a wonderful & loving person to his family & others. Mark, Buddy and family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I have many happy memories of my childhood spent at your home with your mom and her cooking while my Dad and your Dad were outside talking or doing farm things. One particular memory I have is of your father talking about his father and how he thought (at the time, when he was young) that his father had lived a long life when he passed. He said he was approaching the same age and he now realized that it hadn't been such a long life. He said it really made you think and appreciate life, and he hoped he had a lot more years left ahead. That has ALWAYS stayed with me since I was a child. Just wanted to share that with you. And I'm glad he lived the long, happy life he wished for. Love to you all.
