I am sorry to hear of Ronnie’s passing. I grew up in Berkley snd everyone knew each other . Even though Ronnie was a bit older we all kinda hung out. He was truly a nice person. I last saw him at the Berkley reunion some years ago. RIP Ronnie

It was with sadness that I read of Ronnie's passing this morning. He was good friends with my late husband, Danny Sutton, who passed away in 2019. It was thanks to Ronnie, due to the loss of a coin toss, that I went on to marry Danny in 1969. As the story goes, they always wanted to approach the same women, so when they were together and saw me in Snug Harbor, they decided to toss a coin, which Ronnie loss. Ronnie was best man at our wedding. It is ironic that just yesterday, I came across a picture of the three of us at our wedding. I am sad that I will be out of town at the time of his service and unable to say goodbye to a good friend. I will always remember that smile and laughter in his eyes. My sincere condolences to his family.
