Obituary of Michael Byrd

MARION, VIRGINIA: MICHAEL ALLEN BYRD, age 53, died Monday, August 22, 2005 at his home in Marion, Virginia. He worked at Utility Trailer and was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Wendell Byrd. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Sexton Byrd of Marion, Virginia. One daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Dewey Jessee of Glade Spring, Virginia. His mother, Edith Blevins Byrd of Marion, Virginia. Two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Jim Roope of St. James City, Florida, and Cheri and James Frye of Groseclose, Virginia. Two grandsons, Avery and Isaac. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Frank Branson officiating.
